Hey All
I realise that the New System forum has been quiet for a few weeks - I just wanted to give you an update on the current thinking and the plans for the future of the club.
Currently a group of investors have come together to try to purchase land that will form a permanent site for the SpearHead events. By having our own site, it would allow us to gradually develop it over a period of years.
We have been pro-active in trying to find a suitable site - narrowly missing out on a recent bid. We are continuing to look and are hoping that something suitable comes up in the next few months. Obviously the choice and style of the site would shape the future style and type of system and campaign
We see the purchase and development of our own site as being a natural next step for the club - a project that we can all get involved in ... and all very exciting!
The more eyes and ears looking for potential land, the better - if you know of or hear of land that would suit then please let me know.
Happy to field questions and I will obviously keep you all informed of our progress.

Hi. Exciting news.
What are your requirements for the land? (area, size, cost....)
Thanks, Richard |

Location wise - fairly open - Surrey, Sussex, Kent - one key aspect is access especially from the M25
Land type - road access is critical. As is it featuring woodland or having direct access to public woods/forest. Size is also fairly open in that a small plot could be suitable if it has access to further woodland etc |

| I saw one advertised out in Kent between Canterbury and Felixstow, the sign was in a whacking great chunk of farmland/fields though. But...I have been keeping my eyes open (the entire point of this post was to say that!) :) |

There are a couple of sites on the market that we have been looking at. One of which looks very good but is over our budget. There is scope for other investors to get involved. If you would like to discuss investment options then give me a ring

Hi Simon,
I do not get involved too much in woodlands more residential properties but if you need any help in the conveyancing of the purchase feel free to call me. I run an Estate Agency in Surbiton, Surrey but mainly residential units.
It would help greatly if we knew what your requirements are i.e price and size, then I could keep an eye out for any bargains etc!
